Flutter Press, created in 2009, is a micro poetry press that utilizes print on demand (POD) technology to publish modern, beautiful chapbooks, 6" x 9", with cream colored paper and glossy covers.

Flutter Press is excited about discovering the poetic talent that is out there. Whether you are well-seasoned or a novice, we will consider your work for publication. We will patiently work with you through every step of the publishing process to create the chapbook you've poured your heart and soul into.

We favor free verse, lyrical poetry and short prose.  We have eclectic taste and accept collections on a variety of topics from life, love, loss, dreams, fantasy, fairy tale, surreal, musings, relationships, revelations, experiences, nature, etc. If you feel that your poems fit into any of these broad categories, submit your collection here.

** We tend not to favor narrative prose, rhyme, experimental, or satire poetry.  Poetry collections containing excessive profanity, vulgar imagery, and political or social rants will be rejected immediately.

  1. I will definitely consider Flutter Press as a high priority option when I have completed my first chapbook.

  2. Hi Lloyd,

I'm not sure how I missed your comment but thank you, I look forward to reading your collection.

  3. Do you publish full (60 poems) collections?

  4. Thanks for the inquiry. No, I'm sorry but the press only publishes chapbooks of up to 40 poems.

  5. Do you publish modern haiku and/or tanka collections?

  6. Hi Karen,

I've never published those before but wouldn't dismiss the idea. However, the press is closed to submissions until further notice.
