This collection of eighteen poems by Dr. Fred Ehrlich, titled Loss, documents observations and reflections upon issues one deals with when nearing the final stage of life. These include: aging, illness, loss, and death.
About the Author:
Dr. Fred Ehrlich is 86 years of age, and has been retired from the practice of medicine for over ten years. He practiced and taught child psychiatry and psychoanalysis.
In his retirement, he has had the opportunity to look more deeply at issues that he had previously tried to ignore. Dr. Ehrlich watched individuals and couples who were dealing with illness, loss, and death. At the same time, he was dealing with these same matters in himself. Dr. Ehrlich is privileged to still be able to write poems about these concerns.
